You can really work at home, a real job, and work in California. Many legit work at home real jobs include Liveops, and WestatHome, taking inbound calls from call centers.  You can work these jobs from home by simply answering the phone and having high speed internet. It may be hard to believe but I've worked from home since 2002, literally never having to leave my home to work.  With a computer I worked a call center job, doing sales calls to homeowners, who might want new windows or doors.

I did great at the job actually. It was a numbers game.  The more I called, the more chance that at least 4 out of a 100 would be at least a bit interested.  Out of the 4 interested leads, the salesman would then go to the home, and if he or see was good, he would sell 80% of the leads or 3 out of 4. I really have been working since 2002, and don't get me wrong, it's real work that's for sure.
